Last updated 23 October 2026. This is a working draft for Tuned In Labs Ltd, not formal legal advice. Have it checked before you rely on it.

Who we are

Clary is made by Tuned In Labs Ltd, company number 17502320, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. We are the controller for the personal data described here. Contact hello@clarymenopause.com.

What the app stores

Until you create an account, the journal stays on your phone. Creating an account copies it to our database so a partner phone can receive the weekly update and so you can open the same journal if you change phones.

Health data

Sleep, symptoms and bleeding are health data. We use them only to show you your own patterns and doctor summary, and to build the short partner update you switch on. We do not sell data, and we do not use it for advertising. The legal basis is your consent for this health data, and the contract of providing the app you asked for. You can withdraw consent by deleting your data.

What a partner sees

A linked partner does not get your daily log. Their app receives counts for the categories you leave switched on (sleep, mood, energy) plus the short tips shown in your own preview. If you turn every switch off, they get a reminder to check in, not your symptoms. You can unlink at any time.

Who else handles it

Account and journal data is stored with Supabase, which hosts the database for us. They process it on our instructions. Data may be stored outside the UK. We do not pass your log to clinics, employers or advertisers. A workplace licence, if we agree one later, would report uptake in aggregate only, not anyone’s symptoms.

How long we keep it

We keep the account and the journal until you delete them in Settings, or until you email hello@clarymenopause.com and ask us to. The website list is kept until you ask us to remove that address. Local notifications stay on your phone and are not sent to us.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Deleting in the app removes the phone’s journal and, when you are signed in, the account. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Clary is not a medical device and the summary is not a diagnosis.

Children

Clary is for adults. Do not use it if you are under 18.
